Extra is the second longest-running entertainment magazine show on television. In the show's 18th season, host Mario Lopez, who's been will the show since 2007, will be joined by new host Maria Menounos. The exciting new dream team in entertainment, Mario and Maria will report from Extra's home at The Grove in Los Angeles. Extra will continue to take viewers coast-to-coast from L.A. to hotspots at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood and Times Square in New York City.

Unlike any other show in the genre, the audience becomes a part of this electric new Extra Experience by getting to interact live with Mario, Maria and the show's correspondents. The audience members are called upon to chime in on the day's breaking entertainment news, celebrity hookups and breakups and much more. Extra also brings fans closer to the stars by conducting the celebrity interviews in front of a live audience at The Grove in L.A. and locations throughout New York City.
